What we collect
NOTHING
FocusFit operates entirely on your device. We have no servers, no databases, and no way to access any information about you or how you use the app.
What we store
The following information is stored locally on your phone, in the app's private storage area:
- Your timer settings (work duration, break duration, sessions before long break)
- Your daily session count and focus minutes
- Your exercise preferences (difficulty level, body areas)
- Your sitting time tracking (resets daily)
This data never leaves your device. We have no servers and no way to access it.
What we send to anyone else
NOTHING
FocusFit makes no network connections. The app does not require an internet connection to function. We do not contact analytics services, advertising networks, crash reporting tools, or any third-party APIs.
Permissions
FocusFit requests the following Android permissions:
- ✓ FOREGROUND_SERVICE — keeps your pomodoro timer running accurately when the app is in the background or the phone is locked
- ✓ FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE — Android 14+ requirement for the above service
- ✓ POST_NOTIFICATIONS — displays the timer notification with remaining time (Android 13+)
- ✓ WAKE_LOCK — prevents the device from sleeping during an active timer
- ✓ VIBRATE — vibrates when sessions complete (optional, user can disable in settings)
We do not request or use:
- ✕ Location
- ✕ Camera
- ✕ Microphone
- ✕ Contacts
- ✕ Storage outside the app's private folder
- ✕ Internet access
Children's privacy
FocusFit does not collect any data from anyone of any age, including children under 13. The app is suitable for all ages.
Data deletion
To delete all FocusFit data, simply uninstall the app. There is no separate data deletion request needed because all data is stored locally on your device.
Changes to this policy
If this privacy policy changes in the future, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced in the app's release notes on Google Play.
